Apprenticeships

Finding qualified employees doesn't have to be a challenge. Grow your own skilled workforce through an apprenticeship program.

EICC provides high quality, industry-driven education that pairs with on-the-job apprenticeship training. In as little as two to four years, your workers can earn a nationally-recognized, industry-vetted credential from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Apprentices appreciate the time and training you invest in them, and the confidence you show in them. That's why most choose to stay on, and become loyal, long-time employees who understand your business and how it operates.

Reach out. We'll walk you through the details and share the many benefits.

Here's how it works:

  • EICC works with you to design a program that meets your current and future workforce needs, and outlines learning goals and outcomes.
  • EICC provides your employees with at least 144 hours of related training instruction (RTI).
  • Your employees use that training as they complete at least 2,000 hours of on-the-job training (OTJ).

We can provide RTI through current courses or customized training to your business, and track the progress of apprentices via the Department of Labor website. EICC already has approved standards for nine careers:

  • Machinist
  • Tool & Die Maker
  • Mold Maker
  • Pattern Maker
  • Machine Set-Up Operator
  • Maintenance Machinist
  • Weld Arc
  • Maintenance Electrician
