Student COVID-19 Exposure or Positive Test Result Steps
If you have tested positive or are waiting for test results
Stay home.Also complete the COVID Reporting Form at http://web2.eicc.edu/forms/new/covid-reporting.php. The Dean of Students will follow-up with you within 48 hours.
If you receive a RED Stop sign when you first complete Health Check 360
You can expect a phone call from a staff in Human Resources (563-441-4096) to validate your information and provide guidance. Do not come to campus until you have been cleared, even if you erroneously entered information. The volume of red stops that day will determine how quickly we can reach you. Please answer the phone call, so that we can support you as quickly as possible. If you missed the call, contact 563-441-4096.
If you have class that day, reach out to your instructor(s) to let them know you may
not be able to attend class but will be in touch with them with more information.
If you are feeling ok and are able to attend class virtually, request this option
from your instructor.
If it is determined that you had a contact with a confirmed positive person
You can expect a phone call from the Dean of Students at your campus to determine the details of the interaction as part of our contact tracing efforts. You will be advised on next steps based on what we learn. Again, please make every effort to get in contact with the Dean of Students if they have left a message for you.
If you have had contact with a COVID positive person
Complete the COVID Reporting Form at http://web2.eicc.edu/forms/new/covid-reporting.php. Follow up with the Dean of Students on your campus.

If you realize you have been in contact with a confirmed positive person and you are already on campus
Please leave campus immediately and contact 563-441-4096. Also complete the COVID Reporting Form at http://web2.eicc.edu/forms/new/covid-reporting.php
We will determine the details of your interaction, which will guide our decision about
staying off-campus for some period of time. The Dean of Students will follow up with
you to guide you about staying connected and up-to-date with your classes.
