Scott Community College’s Urban Campus is throwing its doors open and inviting the public to learn more about the exciting programs offered at our convenient downtown Davenport location.

Join us July 23 from 4 - 6 p.m. at 101 W. Third Street, Davenport, to explore our programs, meet with instructors, tour the building and learn about new scholarship opportunities. The new Iowa Last Dollar program and our own Urban Campus tuition assistance can make it possible for you to attend college for little, or even no, tuition cost.

Tours will include our state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, impressive community room and more. The Urban Campus serves as a hub for the following programs:

The program you choose determines which scholarships may apply. The Iowa Last Dollar Program is designed for students pursuing a “high-demand” career in Iowa, which includes Computers (Information Technology), Virtual/Augmented Reality, Business, Medical Assistant and Emergency Medical Services. All you need to do is fill out the standard application for state and federal dollars and the Last Dollar Program fills in the gap.

The Urban Campus tuition assistance includes two programs that provide up to $1,000 for qualifying full-time students, $500 for part-time students. The Community Development Scholarship is open to students currently residing in Davenport and Rock Island. The Workforce Development Scholarship is set aside for students enrolled in one of the Career Technology or Continuing Education Programs housed on the campus.

There are many free parking options at the new SCC Urban Campus. Two-hour on-street parking is available at no charge. Limited handicap accessible and short-term parking is located on streets directly around the campus.
