Information Sessions

Students talking in break areaEastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC), THE Community’s College, is hosting short June 7 info sessions at its Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community College campuses. Scheduled from 5 – 6 p.m., the sessions provide interested students the opportunity to get answers to their questions as they explore the next step in their lives.

Admissions representatives will be on hand at each campus to discuss career possibilities, programs and courses, financial aid and everything else involved in the college process.

Locations include:

The sessions are open to everyone including recent high school graduates and those individuals who have been away from school for a number of years. No commitment is necessary.

The college offers 32 career options and an Associate in Arts (AA) college transfer degree with many different major choices.

The career options are specifically designed to prepare students for a job upon graduation. Instructors have direct experience in the field and maintain close ties to area employers.

Students in the AA college transfer program complete the same first two-year classes as students at four-year colleges. The state universities and area private colleges all work with EICC to ensure the credits easily transfer once the student graduates here.

Those students are taking advantage of EICC’s affordable tuition rate, one of the best in the state of Iowa, and its many financial aid programs.

EICC enrolls more than 7,000 students each fall, making it the sixth largest college in the state of Iowa. Even so, its low faculty to student ratio means students receive personalized attention from their instructors.
