Virtual Campus Visit December 4
The New Year is just around the corner and that means new possibilities! At Eastern Iowa Community Colleges we offer students a number of options, from career/technical training leading directly to high-demand jobs to Associate's Degrees with seamless transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
Interested students are invited to explore everything we offer at our upcoming Virtual Campus Visit on Monday, December 4 beginning at 9 a.m. online via Zoom. Visits include EICC’s Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges as well as its downtown Davenport Urban Campus and Blong Technology Center. The visits provide students the opportunity to learn everything they want and need to know about starting college including programs of study, financial aid, admissions and more. Go to eicc.edu/visit during the designated day/time for the link to join in.
Participants will also learn about our spring incentives. The college had such great response to our Free Class/Laptop Computer program in the fall, we’re extending the special offer to new students who register for spring classes. New full-time students who register by December 23 will receive their choice of a laptop computer or free class. Part-time students, enrolled in six to 11 credit hours, will receive $200 off their spring tuition. The college has also added reduced tuition incentives for current students who continue their studies with EICC.
More and more, students are making EICC their first choice when planning their future. The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, St. Ambrose University, Western Illinois University and many other four-year colleges work with EICC to make sure students can easily transfer once they complete their degree here.
EICC also offers more than 30 career education programs leading directly into the world of work. Instructors in these programs have had direct experience in the field and continue to keep close ties with area employers.
All of the classes are close to home and the college’s tuition is among the most competitive in the state of Iowa. Plus with our variety of class delivery formats, including online courses, earning your degree is more convenient than ever.
The event is open to everyone; current high school students and a family member as well as individuals who have been out of school for a number of years and are considering starting college classes for the first time. Spring classes begin January 19, so now is a great time to learn more about your hometown college!
Students can also join in on virtual visits, online “drop-in” hours or set-up a personal appointment with Admissions at eicc.edu/visit, or for more information contact the college at:
