Campus Visit Day November 9
10/19/20
It’s been nearly a month since the FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) became available and now that students are
beginning to think about how they’ll pay for college, it’s time to think about where
they want to go.
To help students decide, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is hosting a Virtual Campus Visit Monday, November 9 beginning at 9 a.m. online via Zoom. Visits include EICC’s Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges as well as its downtown Davenport Urban Campus and Blong Technology Center.
The visits provide students the opportunity to learn everything they want and need
to know about starting college including programs of study, financial aid possibilities, admissions and more. Students are encouraged to bring all of their questions with them.
As your hometown college, EICC makes a quality education possible for everyone and
has become the first choice for students planning their future. Tuition continues to be one of the most competitive in the state of Iowa, thousands of dollars
less than the four-year colleges and technical institutes. Financial aid and scholarships
are also available.
The colleges maintain formal transfer agreements with the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, Western Illinois University,
St. Ambrose University and others. These agreements mean the credits that college
transfer students earn here easily transfer upon graduation. New this year, 15 different Transfer Major Associate Degrees will also be available. The state’s community colleges and public universities joined
forces to create these majors, enabling students to start taking classes required
for their major while at EICC.
EICC’s 30+ career technology programs are designed to lead the student directly into the job market. The programs range from a full two-year degree to just a semester in length, and many have been designated high-demand by the state of Iowa. With so many to choose from, there’s something to meet everyone’s skills and interests.
Students can also join in on virtual visits, online “drop-in” hours or set-up a personal appointment with Admissions at eicc.edu/visit, or for more information contact the college at:
