Quad Cities College Fair October 14 at EICC Urban Campus
One of the area’s largest college fairs is moving to a new location. This year’s Iowa Quad Cities College Program will be hosted at Eastern Iowa Community Colleges’ new Urban Campus in downtown Davenport, 101 W. Third St.
More than 50 colleges, universities and technical schools will be on hand. The event is free of charge and will be held October 14 from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
The Quad Cities College Fair 2019 is organized by Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, St. Ambrose University and the Quad Cities area high schools including Assumption, Bettendorf, Davenport Central, Davenport Mid-City, Davenport North, Davenport West, North Scott and Pleasant Valley.
The college fair is open to all high school students, whether attending an Iowa Quad Cities school or another school outside the immediate area, as well as those across the river in Illinois. Parents are welcome to attend.
The event regularly draws 1,000 or more high school juniors and seniors. Those attending learn more about college programs, admissions requirements, financial aid and scholarships.
Quad Cities students can also enter to win a scholarship, one for each of the QC high schools and help their school win a prize toward the Student Hunger Drive.
Students should contact their high school guidance counselor for more information. For a complete list of the colleges that will be represented go to eicc.edu/QCcollegefair
