EICC – Visits & Financial Aid Info Nights
10/1/21
October 1 marks the first day the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
opens for members of the Class of 2022 seeking post-secondary education in the fall
of 2022. It’s a great time for students to start thinking about where they want to
attend college, as well as how they’ll pay for it.
To help students decide, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is hosting a Campus Visit Day on Monday, Oct. 11 at Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges, including the SCC Urban Campus and Blong Technology Center. The event begins at 9 a.m. at each campus.
The visit day provides students with the opportunity to learn about the college’s programs of study, financial aid possibilities, admissions requirements and more. Online registration is required to attend the visit.
After discovering available opportunities at the visit, prospective students can learn more at one of these upcoming Financial Aid Nights, designed to simplify the financial aid process. This event is free to the public and visitors are encouraged to bring their family’s 2020 tax information.
- Tuesday, Oct. 19, 4 – 6 p.m. | Clinton Community College, Room #129
1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton, IA
- Wednesday, Oct. 20, 4 – 6 p.m. | Scott Community College, Computer Lab - Room #1112
500 Belmont Rd., Bettendorf, IA - Thursday, Oct. 21, 4 – 6 p.m. | Muscatine Community College, Loper Hall

A knowledgeable team of Financial Aid Representatives and Admissions Counselors will
be at the event to go over everything students, and their parents, need to know about
how to file the FAFSA. Our team will also identify possible scholarships, grants and
loans to ensure participants receive the maximum financial aid for which they are
eligible. Registration is not required to attend the event.
In addition to these events, EICC also offers virtual campus visits, online “drop-in”
hours or personal appointments with our Admissions Counselors. To view the college’s
visit dates and current health and safety guidelines, go to eicc.edu/visit
