Nursing Open Houses
We’ve blown out walls and renovated the nursing labs at all three of our Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community College campuses and now it’s time to show them off.
Everyone is invited. Whether you’re involved in the health care industry or just curious how your nurses receive their training, you’re welcome to attend.
- September 9 – Muscatine Community College
152 Colorado St. (Enter to the back of the campus from Colorado St. Labs are located in Musser Hall, just past the student housing.)
- September 10 – Scott Community College
500 Belmont Rd. (Enter via Door #4)
- September 11 – Clinton Community College
1000 Lincoln Blvd. (Enter through the far right door in the front of the building, across from the main parking lot.)
All three sessions will be held from 4 – 6 p.m.
You’ll have the chance to explore the labs, meet with the faculty, see demonstrations of the simulation equipment and more.
By the way, in addition to our traditional simulators, students at Clinton and Scott now have the opportunity to experience birth and caring for a child with two new simulators. Our pediatric simulator allows students to practice their skills on a child, while our adult female simulator actually simulates giving birth, providing students the unique opportunity to care for both the mother and baby before they enter the field.
