
Online Learning: Tips and Advice

For some students, taking courses online is a rewarding experience and a convenient
way for them to fit education into their already busy lifestyle. However, you may
be wondering if this class delivery format is right for you?
To help you decide, and learn more about what taking classes online classes is really like, we’re hosting two “Online Learning: Tips and Advice” virtual info sessions. The sessions will be held August 11 via Zoom at 11:30 a.m. and/or 4:30 p.m. Michelle Rasmussen, EICC’s Dean of eLearning and Instructional Technology, will answer your most pressing questions and cover the following topics:
- What skills do I need to be a successful learner online?
- I am hesitant about taking an online course. How do I know if it is right for me?
- What are strategies I can take to ensure I am successful?
An Admissions Counselor will also be present to share information regarding online academic programs, financial aid and campus resources available at EICC. To join in on the session(s), click the Zoom links during the designated day/time:
