Free Kickstart to College Class
Preparing to enroll in college often comes with a lot of questions, and in today’s world there are added concerns. That’s why Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is excited to offer a free online class to help you get a kick-start to college and prepare for your college journey.
The week-long course, “Kick-start to College,” will cover topics such as online learning, how to pay for college and potential career paths. You will gain the tools and confidence to successfully map out your college plans. If you complete the entire course you will even be eligible to receive $100 off your tuition for the fall.
There are two different class formats available, so you can choose whatever works best for your schedule and learning style:
Using Zoom technology, you’ll have scheduled face-to-face classes with a live instructor and your fellow classmates.
Live Online Classes:
- July 13 – 17, 10 - 11:30 a.m.
- July 27 – 30, 6 - 8 p.m.
Traditional online classes you can take anywhere at anytime using Canvas, the college's online learning platform.
Online Anytime Classes:
- July 20 - August 2, Online Anytime
- August 3 – 16, Online Anytime
- August 17 – 30, Online Anytime
