Campus Visit July 12
If you’ve been considering college or even putting it off, now is a great time to do more for yourself and your community by registering for fall classes. To help students explore the wide range of options available, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is hosting a Campus Visit beginning at 9 a.m. on July 12. The Visits will take place at EICC’s Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges, including the SCC Urban Campus.
The college will have representatives on hand to answer any and all questions about college programs, financial aid, applying for admission and more.
EICC makes a quality education possible for everyone and has become the first choice
for students planning their future. Tuition continues to be one of the most competitive in the state of Iowa, thousands of dollars
less than the four-year colleges and technical institutes. Financial aid is also available. New
this year, the college is even offering a flat-rate tuition for full-time, on –campus
students. Students taking 12 credit hours can take six additional hours for no extra
The colleges maintain formal transfer agreements with the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, Western Illinois University, St. Ambrose University and many more. These agreements mean the credits that college transfer students earn here easily transfer upon graduation. The college also offers 15 different Transfer Major Associate Degrees. The state’s community colleges and public universities joined forces to create these majors, enabling students to start taking classes required for their major while at EICC. The partner colleges and universities have all agreed on these classes, giving the courses their academic seal of approval.
EICC’s 30+ career technology programs are designed to lead the student directly into the job market. Many of these programs have been designated high-demand by the state of Iowa, which means students may even have the opportunity to get their tuition paid through Iowa’s new Last Dollar Program.
The session is open to anyone who is already out of school and thinking about starting their college or technical education. To ensure everyone’s safety and offer the best experience possible, on-campus visits will be limited in size and advance registration is required. Our staff and all visitors are expected to follow health and safety guidelines.
