NEW! Live Online AA Degree Program
5/27/21
Students have never had more flexibility in scheduling than they have right now thanks
to Eastern Iowa Community Colleges’ new Live Online AA Degree Program.
Beginning this fall, you can earn your AA Degree entirely through Live Online classes. Combining the ability to take classes from home, or anywhere you have internet access, with real, live, instructors, Live Online classes give you the best of both worlds; online instruction with real-time instructor and classmate interaction.
You now have the flexibility to choose between three different ways to complete your Associate in Arts Degree, or combine classes from each in whatever way best works for you:
- Classroom – Traditional classroom-based instruction.
- Online – For well over a decade we’ve partnered with community colleges throughout the state
to make it possible to earn your degree through fully-online classes.
- Live Online – With Live Online you have a regularly-scheduled class to learn from an instructor,
ask questions and listen to other students. But, you save time because you don’t have
to drive to a classroom, you “attend” class via Zoom. Plus, many classes include online
assignments you do on your own time, reducing the scheduled classes and the need to
be online at a specified time. You do that additional work when it fits your schedule.
Want more flexibility? We have it. Combine them!
That’s right, you can take classes in whichever format works for you. Want to take
a couple classes in the classroom, one online and another Live Online? Go for it!
Don’t want to have to go to the classroom and want to take three or four Live Online classes, and toss in a traditional online class for good measure? That’s ok too!
Whatever works for you.
Financial aid for those who qualify is available for Live Online classes, just like our traditional classroom classes. We can help you determine your eligibility.
