
CCC College and Career Ready Counselors

Clinton Community College has announced the addition of two College and Career Ready Counselors. These counselors
will be responsible for providing direct services to students, parents/families, and
school staff across two school districts and the college to support postsecondary
success and college preparation.
Danielle Sampson will be the liaison between CCC and the Camanche and Northeast School districts. Danielle has served the Camanche School District in Camanche, IA as a Professional School Counselor since 2012 and prior to that served as a High School Special Education Teacher since 2007. Her experience includes work implementing and organizing “Application Day” and “FAFSA Completion Day/Night”.
Holly Hosch will serve as liaison between CCC and the DeWitt Central and Calamus-Wheatland School districts. Holly has served as a Professional School Counselor since 2017 at North CedarJr/Sr High School in Clarence, IA. In addition to experience working as a Professional School Counselor, she brings experience working as a Summer Assistant working for the Advancement Services of Jones County in Monticello, IA where she coordinated job shadows and internship experiences for students in the Career Connections Program.
Clinton Community College President Brian Kelly commented, "This is an opportunity to engage our High Schools and High School students and parents at a new level.
