New Flat Full-Time Tuition Rate & Other Benefits
For the first time this fall, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is introducing a flat tuition rate for all full-time students. The new tuition plan is among a number of benefits the college is providing students.
Flat Full-Time Tuition
Students taking 12 credit hours on campus can take six additional hours, for a total of 18, at no additional cost. The additional six credit hours can be on campus or Live Online. (Online only classes do not qualify.)
Current Students – Free Summer Class
Students currently enrolled in the Spring semester can register full time for fall and get a free summer class. Students must register for fall by June 1.
(Flat tuition and Summer Class benefits do not include guest or concurrent students.)
New students beginning this fall, and those who have been away from classes for more than a year, can also take advantage of these technology benefits:
Full-time students (12+ credits) - Laptop
Laptop (Provided for student use as long as they are continuously enrolled as FT for fall and spring)
Hot Spot (Provided for student use as long as they are continuously enrolled as FT for fall and spring)
Part-time students (6-11 credits) - Technology Package
Technology package – headset, camera (Provided for student use as long as they are continuously enrolled as PT for fall and spring)

Of course, students always have access to the modern computer labs at our colleges and other locations. We also understand you might need WiFi during hours our buildings are not open, or maybe a location closer to your home, so we have provided a list of public sites you can use.
