Degree Plan for Adults Information Session April 15
For many adults, the idea going to college may seem overwhelming and even scary, but with Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) it is never too late to start something great.
EICC’s Degree Plan for Adults is designed specifically for adults who are ready to start the path to a college education. Best of all, it’s built with the flexibility to fit into busy work and family schedules.
Interested students can learn more at our upcoming April 15 information session starting at 5:30 p.m.
The Adult Degree Plan is available through all three of EICC’s colleges, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges. The plan uses the college’s Flexplan scheduling to limit the time students are required to be in an actual classroom.
You can attend the session either in person or online. The in person session will be held at Scott Community College’s Urban Campus, 101 W. Third St., Davenport. Free two-hour on-street parking is available. Limited handicap accessible and short-term parking is located on streets directly around the campus.
To participate online, all you need is an internet connection and a smartphone or computer. Visit eicc.edu/adults for the link and easy to follow directions. Don’t worry, it’s simple to do!
With the Flexplan format, students attend each class one day a week, giving them time with their fellow students, and complete the remainder of the work online, reducing the number of times they have to travel to the classroom.
The college has conveniently laid out the courses students need to take to complete the program in two, three or four-year paths. Those plans can be adapted so if someone choosing to either speed up or slow down their path in the future, has the flexibility to do so.
In addition, new students get their first evening class at half-off tuition.
