There are a wide variety of programs from which to choose, ranging from medical billing and coding to physical therapy assistant. Available through the college’s partnership with online education provider ed2go, students can begin the programs anytime and complete the work entirely online at their own pace.
This flexibility makes it easy for those interested in starting a new career to schedule their studies around busy work and family and schedules.

This course offers valuable training in medical office management, legal, ethical and regulatory concepts, information on what is stored in an electronic health record (EHR) system, the steps required to implement an electronic health record system and more. Certified Medical Administrative Assistants’ broad scope of knowledge and skills make them ideal professionals for any ambulatory care setting. Upon completion of this program, you will be ready to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and the Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) national certification exams offered by National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and will receive the study guide materials, access to practice exams and registration fees for both. You may begin anytime and will have 12 months to complete the program.

If you are unsure which type of Medical and Billing certification to choose, this course introduces you to the many options and allows you to select a voucher for the professional certification that best aligns with your interests and career goals. Books and materials are included. You can begin anytime and will have twelve months to complete the program.
CPC Medical Billing and Coding will prepare you for an entry-level career within the healthcare industry. You’ll learn current medical coding standards, to help you accurately track patient accounts and find gainful employment within this growing workforce sector. This program is designed to help you successfully prepare for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam, offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). The registration fee for the exam is included with this program. You can begin anytime and will have six months to complete the program.
Pharmacy technicians have become indispensable to the health care industry, and it's a great time to join this growing field. You'll gain the skills and knowledge to qualify for entry-level positions in pharmacies and be prepared for national certification. All materials are included. Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), offered by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). The registration fee for this exam is included and there is an optional externship offered at the end of the program. You can begin anytime and will have 12 months to complete your course work.
There's a growing need for physical therapy aides. In fact, PT aide jobs will grow more than 29 percent through 2029. This online course will help you master the skills you need to work as a physical therapy aide. Not only will you be prepared for the AMCA's Physical Therapy Technician/Aide certification exam, but an externship starter kit will also walk you through everything you need to know to land a PT aide externship. You can begin anytime and will have nine months to complete the program once you begin.
