Data analytics is one of today’s fastest-growing and highest-paid professions as organizations increasingly rely on data to drive strategic business decisions.
Combining data with efficient and powerful analytics provides a tremendous boost to organizations by helping to find root causes of setbacks, uncover customer habits/behaviors, determine next steps to boost performance and more.
We have a number of convenient online options, including both credit and non-credit certificates.
Beginning this spring, we're offering a new, part-time credit program in Data Analytics. The one-year, 18-credit program is designed to expand knowledge in rapidly developing and in-demand areas, including: analytics tools and techniques, how to work with databases, the statistical analysis computer languages of R and SPSS, how to create data visualizations, and how to apply statistics and predictive analytics in a business environment.
Classes will be delivered in the evenings online via Zoom, with one class offered every eight weeks. Spring classes begin January 19, so there's still time to register. Learn more at eicc.edu/dataanalytics
If you're looking for something that takes even less time, we have three great online options through our continuing education department. You can log into the virtual classroom 24/7, making it easy to complete the program at your own pace. You will earn your certificate after completing three, one-month courses.
Certificate in Data Analysis

Power BI Certificate

Gain insights into your data using business intelligence software Power Business Intelligence. Power BI is a widely used business analytics service and report creation tool offered for free by Microsoft. You will discover the process of creating interactive reports and integrating financial, marketing, or any other source data. This certificate will enhance your skills in data analysis, giving you greater insight into your organization’s performance and allowing you to make more informed decisions.
Certificate in SQL
February 1 - April 30
Structured Query Language (SQL) is the industry standard database programming language. It is one of the most in-demand skills in occupations that require interaction with data and analyzing data. Through your knowledge of Structured Query Language, you will become more marketable in computer related career fields pertaining to database administration. Learning SQL can also lead to a job that is specific to analyzing data such as a data analyst, a quality assurance analyst, or a business analyst.
