MCC Manufacturing Open House
To get a good job in today’s economy, it takes training. The kind of training available in Muscatine Community College’s advanced manufacturing programs.
The college will be showcasing those programs at a daytime visit session from 9 a.m. – Noon. on October 26 in the Muscatine Industrial Technology Center (MITC) on the Muscatine Community College campus.
Muscatine Community College, one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, offers career training opportunities in such areas as Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Business, Information Technology, Nursing and Veterinary Tech.
Visitors will tour the labs, meet with faculty and get answers to all of their questions about starting classes, financing their education and more.
Most of the college’s career programs offer certificate and diploma options in addition to the Associate in Arts Degree. That means students have a variety of lengths of study from which to choose.
All of the faculty in these programs have direct experience in the field and keep in touch with local employers to make sure students are learning the skills they need to start a job immediately upon graduation.
In addition, Eastern Iowa Community Colleges offers the most competitive tuition in the state of Iowa and students can take advantage of a variety of financial aid options.
