CCC Lab Classes to Begin Sept. 8; Other Classes Continue Online through Sept. 21



Clinton Community College will be opening some lab-related classes on Tuesday, while extending online instruction for its other classes for an additional two weeks.

Beginning September 8, a limited number of the college’s Nursing, Medical Assistant and Engineering Technology courses will offer essential lab and hands-on training on campus. Students enrolled in those programs should refer to Canvas for additional information.

The college will continue remote delivery of all other face-to-face classes until Monday, September 21.

Student services, study spaces, library and computer labs will continue to be available. Students are welcome to come to campus access the WiFi and use college services. Available services include:

  • Student Services (Advising, Registration, Financial Aid, Business Office):
    8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
    For Student Services, we encourage you to make an appointment prior to coming to campus.

  • Library:
    8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Computer Labs:
    8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Study Spaces (with Wifi and Electricity):
    8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Please remember the key community standards and college safety measures when coming to campus:

  • Wear a face mask
  • Conduct your daily health check
  • Social Distance in all campus spaces
  • Report any COVID-19 positive results
  • Wash and Disinfect your hands and surfaces

On-campus courses continue to be offered on the CCC Maquoketa campus, which remains open. Live Online and fully Online courses are not affected by this decision and will be delivered as scheduled. Scott Community College and Muscatine Community College also continue to offer on-campus classes as scheduled.
