What You Learn in Horticulture

Explore and experience a number of horticultural fields of your choice, including greenhouse production, turfgrass management, landscaping, hemp production, and specialty crop production. 

What Can I Do With a Horticulture Degree? 

You have so many options. Use your knowledge of plants and plant science to design inviting and thriving landscapes for homeowners and businesses. Be a turf manager and care for a stadium playing field or a golf course. Take a job with a city or county to beautify parks, nurture wetlands, and bring natural life and color into public works projects.

Open greenhouse or launch a niche farming operation. Lead ground maintenance on a college campus or for a mega-company.
