Biology – Human Anatomy Physiology I and II


Minimum qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a Biology or any master’s degree with 12 graduate hours in Biology and additional 6 graduate hours in a combination of Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Horticulture, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Science Education, Virology, or Zoology.

 

Chemistry Instructors


Qualifications will include:

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry, or a Master’s Degree with at least 18 GSH in the qualifying fields: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacology, and Science Education Chemistry. 12 of the 18 GSH must be in Chemistry and/or Biochemistry.

 

Communication Skills Instructor


Qualifications will include:

  • Master’s degree in Communication or English or a master’s degree with 12 graduate hours in Communications and/or English and 6 graduate hours in Communications, English, Journalism, Linguistics, Literature, Speech, and/or Theater.


Elementary Spanish I and Intermediate Spanish I Instructor


Qualifications will include:

  • Will teach Monday & Wednesday 1 - 5 p.m.
  • Master's degree in Spanish or any master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in a combination of the following fields: Spanish (12 GSH required), Cultural Studies ( focused on Spanish culture), Intercultural Communications, and/or Linguistics.

 

Environmental Science Instructor

2018 spring session

Qualifications will include:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Natural Science, or Physical Science or any master’s degree with 12 graduate hours in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Natural Science, or Physical Science and 6 graduate hours in Agriculture, Agronomy and Soil Science, Biochemistry, Biological Anthropology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Ecology, Geography, Horticulture, Natural Resources, Science Education, and/or Sustainability.

Intro to Computers Instructor


Qualifications will include:

  • Masters degree in computer science, business, instructional design or Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in related field.

 

Introduction to Sociology Instructor


Qualifications will include:

  • Master’s Degree in Sociology or a master’s degree with 6 GSH in sociology and 12 GSH in Anthropology, Criminology, Cultural Studies, Gerontology, Public Policy, and/or Social Work required. Position is at Wilton High School.

 

Living with Space Time & Technology Instructor

Spring 2018 semester

Qualifications will include:

  • Master’s in Humanities or a master’s degree with 6 graduate hours in Humanities, and 12 graduate hours in Anthropology, Art, Classics, Cultural Studies, History, Humanities & Fine Arts, Literature, Philosophy, and/or Religion.

 

Public Speaking


Adjunct teaching will include teaching utilizing Zoom. The class will begin October 18, 2018 – December 13, 2018, Thursdays 5:30p.m. – 8:45 p.m.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech or any master’s degree with 12 graduate hours in Speech and/or Communications and additional 6graduate hours in a combination of Drama/Theatre, English, Linguistics, Mass Media, Speech Pathology, and/or Rhetoric.

 

Speech Instructor


Qualifications will include:

  • Master’s degree in Speech/Communications or master’s degree with at least 18 GSH in a combination of speech and/or communication studies.

 

Turf and Landscape


Minimum qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in related field and work experience in education and/or the turf or landscape field
