The Master of Physical Therapy program at St. Ambrose University is based on a "3+3" academic model. The first three years are spent completing general education requirements, core courses for the undergraduate major (biology or psychology recommended), and the prerequisites for the MPT program. The EICCD AA degree including the courses listed below can provide the first two years of requirements.
Admission to the physical therapy program is highly competitive. While the minimum cumulative GPA is 2.80, the average GPA of students admitted to a recent sample of master's programs was 3.60.
