Admission
Students transferring to IWC with an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science will be admitted as a junior and have satisfied the IWC general education requirements, except for Responsible Social Involvement and Safety and Survival. The only other exception is that IWC will not recognize ENG:111 or ENG:108 as satisfying Communications general education. All majors need to have a C- or above in Composition II.
Students should create a portfolio consisting of all education related coursework. This portfolio will be required by the transfer institution for upper division coursework. In addition, a basic skills test is required – CAAP, C-Base or PPST. Please consult with your transfer institution for further details regarding appropriate materials to include in the portfolio and basic skills test scores.
