We are now taking submissions for the new Squash Blossom. Entries are due March 10, ???? and are to be submitted to the SCC Library. If you are planning on submitting for the SB ???? issue then you should also read the submission guidelines to properly submit your entry.  Limited to 3 entries per person, written entries will not be returned.

To submit writing we need your entry to be
delivered in two formats. 

1. 6 typed, double spaced copies on clean, unfolded, unwrinkled paper showing us any coloring, formatting, italicizing, and underlining that you may want displayed for the judges.
   
2. The next format will be on a 3.5 inch floppy disk in any one of the following formats.

• File.txt (Windows standard)
  
• File.doc (Microsoft Word all versions)
  
• File.wpd (Word Perfect all versions)
  
• File.rtf (Rich Text Format)
  
• File.ans (ANSI Standard for DOS)
  
• File.asc (ASCII Standard for DOS)
  
• File.wps (Works for Windows all versions)
  
• File.wk1 (Lotus 1-2-3 all versions)

To submit Visual Art

If you are submitting a piece of visual self-expression, this image will need to be scanned. Currently, the maximum size of items that can be scanned is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. If your piece is no larger than this, it may be submitted as is. If your piece is larger, you will need to submit a photograph of it that can be scanned.

If you are scanning your own images they need to be 300 dpi and CMYK color, with these specs you will need to deliver scanned images on zip disk, 230 MB SyQuest, CD-ROM, or over the internet, if they will not not fit on a floppy disk.
