Columbia College Chicago Presidential Scholarship

High school seniors and transfer students who have earned fewer than 13 credit hours at another college or university who plan to be full-time students are eligible. Scholarship awards are based on academic achievement in high school and demonstration of talent, ability or accomplishment in the student’s intended major. The maximum award is $2,000 per semester. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer
Scholarship

Nominees must have at least a 3.5 GPA; have sophomore status or have graduated after May 2002 from an accredited two-year college; and plan to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate institution in fall. Iowa State University Community College Transfer
Scholarship

This scholarship is for up to $2,000. No application is necessary as scholarship is based on need. Preference is given to students with 45 transferable credit hours and a 3.00 GPA at a community college, full-time, priority to those who apply for financial aid prior to February 14th and those who apply for admission prior to March 1st.

Iowa State University Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
April deadline
This is a $1,000 scholarship renewable for a second year by maintaining a 3.00 CGPA. Applicant must be a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, have a 3.50 GPA and have completed a minimum of 45 semester hours at a community college.

Iowa State University Roy J. Carver Scholarship

Twenty awards of $5,200 will be available to Iowa State University juniors, renewable for the senior year with a minimum gpa. To be eligible, a student must be a U. S. citizen, a graduate of an accredited Iowa high school or resident of the state of Iowa for at least five consecutive years immediately prior to application, a junior classification for fall, enroll full-time (12 credits or more), have a minimum CGPA of 2.80, demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA and present evidence of unusual social and/or other barriers to attending college full-time. Students must submit (on-line) an application, essay and two letters of reference by April 1st to be considered for this scholarship.
