designed for senior citizens interested in a new active this month.
Search & Surf the Internet
Learn to surf the internet using hyperlinks, the web browser and search engines. Book included with the fee. Class will be held June 19 from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Muscatine Community College, 152 Colorado Street, Muscatine. The cost is $24 and the course number is 137710.
A second session of the class is offered June 20 from 12:15 – 4:15 p.m. at Scott Community College’s West Davenport Center, 2950 Fairmount St, Davenport. The cost is also $24 and the course number is 137724.
Meditation in motion, Tai Chi is a gentle non- strenuous movement based on ancient principles that may bring about physical and mental relaxation. It’s a great way to improve balance. Class will be held from 9 – 10:30 a.m. on consecutive Thursdays for nine weeks beginning July 10 at the Bettendorf Community Center, 2204 Grant St, Bettendorf. CPR/Family & Friends
To the beat of the Bee Gee's "Staying Alive", learn the lifesaving compression techniques to assist a cardiac arrest victim. Most cardiac arrests occur at home with loved ones. Be prepared to help a loved one survive by doing CPR. (Includes Lunch) Class will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., June 19, at the Outing Club, 2109 N. Brady St., Davenport. Tour/ LeClaire, IA Attractions
LeClaire hosts many attractions in our own backyard. Participants will visit the Buffalo Bill Museum, the home of the American Pickers, Antique Archeology, and board the last working Mississippi steam boat , "The Lonestar". The tour drives by historical preserved homes and visits two former steam-boat pilots homes including the McCaffery home (1870), now converted into the Pelican Restaurant. There will also be plenty of time to visit the shops along Cody Road and grab lunch at one of the many restaurants.

Tour/Cantigny Park & Colonel McCormick's Estate
Colonel Robert McCormick, former Publisher of the Chicago Tribune, and World War I Colonel in the 1st Division, has left his mansion, his formal beautiful gardens and his museums located in Wheaton, IL, to the public. The 500-acre park offers educational and recreational experiences that participants can leisure walk through as they desire or take one of the trams available between museums. (Lunch at the Le Jardin restaurant is included.)
