Nonviolence Activist and Educator Kit Evans

A nonviolence trainer with Pace e Bene and former trainer with the National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere, Kit Evans is a woman who is passionate about nonviolence, God and serving others.  In May of 2008, Kit became a survivor of an extremely violent sexual assault on her life.  After surviving the attack, she became more driven to promote the power of nonviolent social change.

Kit Evans will also present at the Mullany Theater on the Ashford University campus at 6:00 p.m.  For more information, contact 563-242-7611.

Quad Cities Arts Visiting Artist Series

Clinton Community College is pleased to announce the final performances for the 2013-14 Visiting Artist season. This is the 40th year that CCC has offered these performances for the community as part of the Quad Cities Arts, a program that strives to make the program accessible to people of all walks of life, including students, seniors, and working people. Performances will be held in both Clinton and in Maquoketa throughout the year.

Jen Chapin Trio - Folk Trio
Tuesday, March 25 - 7 p.m.

Praised as “…soulfully poetic urban folk music”, this is a blend of funky folk and earthy jazz.  Chapin has been honored by the USA Songwriting Competition.

CCC Alumni Association Trivia Night

$100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place.  Teams of 6 – 8 players - $10 per person.
