Jen ChapinQuad Cities Arts Visiting Artist Series
Clinton Community College is pleased to announce the final performances for the 2013-14 Visiting Artist season. This is the 40th year that CCC has offered these performances for the community as part of the Quad Cities Arts, a program that strives to make the program accessible to people of all walks of life, including students, seniors, and working people.

Jen Chapin Trio - Folk Trio
Tuesday, March 25, 2014 – 7:00 p.m. - FREE
CCC Technology Center, 1951 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton

Praised as "…soulfully poetic urban folk music", this is a blend of funky folk and earthy jazz.  Chapin has been honored by the USA Songwriting Competition.

CCC Alumni Association Trivia Night
Friday, March 28, 2014 - 6:30 p.m.
CCC Auditorium, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton

$100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place.  Teams of 6 – 8 players - $10 per person.

Benefits the CCC Alumni Association Scholarship Program which funds four scholarships:

  • CCC Alumni Association Connie Seifert Memorial Honor Scholarship – awarded to a high achieving student,
  • CCC Alumni Association Member Scholarship – awarded to a spouse or dependent of an Alumni Association member,
  • CCC Alumni Association Recognition Scholarship – awarded to a graduate of the CCC High School Equivalency program, and
  • CCC Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship – awarded to a student with financial need.

The Clinton Community College Alumni Association assists Clinton Community College in its efforts of increasing benefits to students enrolled, fosters a spirit of loyalty to Clinton Community College, and coordinates activities of alumni furthering the welfare of both Clinton Community College and its alumni.  Each year the group recognizes leadership in the classroom, on campus and in the community at the annual Student Leader Luncheon.  The Alumni Association also recognizes outstanding contributions to the college at the annual Outstanding Awards, and hosts the High School Equivalency Program Graduation reception.

ENCORE – ENrichment COurses for REtirees – Spring Tune-Up
Thursday, April 3, 2014 – 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
CCC Technology Center, 1951 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton

ENCORE Presents is a one-day seminar co-sponsored by Clinton Community College and RSVP.  This is an opportunity for you to come together for a day of entertainment and enrichment.   There are several top-notch, informative speakers scheduled throughout the day such as Margo Hanson from the Bickelhaupt Arboretum, Terry Dingmon presenting “The Korean Conflict – The Forgotten War” and “The Front Porch Pickers”, a group of musicians sharing songs, stories and a sing-along.  
We hope you are able to spend the day with us, get tuned up for a great spring season, sit back, enjoy yourself and lunch is provided by the Paul B. Sharar Foundation.

CCC Student Art Exhibit Opening

Join students, family and friends for the annual Student Art Exhibit Opening where paintings, drawings, sculptures, and found art objects will be displayed. 

Pay It Forward Week
April 21 – 25

Students, faculty, staff and the community will join together for a week to “Pay It Forward” to others including doing beautification, thank you’s to donors, lunch with the community and assistance to those less fortunate.  

  • Monday – Campus Clean-Up/ Highway Clean-Up
  • Tuesday – Thanks for Giving!
  • Wednesday – Dress to Impress Community Luncheon
  • Thursday – Community Donations to Wounded Warriors & Food Pantry
  • Friday – High School Fine Arts Day

Paul B. Sharar Foundation Scholarship Recipient & Donor Reception
