CCC SNAP Club Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament Results
The early morning calm was broken by the sound of “Shuffle Up and Deal” as the 7th Annual Texas Hold-um Poker Tournament sponsored by the Clinton Community College Student Networkers and Programmers Club (SNAP) got underway. Fifteen hardy souls braved the early morning hours to sign in and began the first round of No-Limit Poker. After three hours of bluffs and folds, the field was whittled down to the final six individuals.
A short time later this field was down to three. Guy Plumley of Fulton finished the day in third place leaving Kevin Trettin of Clinton and Bob Stineman from to do battle for first and second. After a hard fought battle Kevin Trettin took the plunge going “ALL IN” and taking the pot for first place.
Terry Voss of Clinton took the 50/50 raffle.
All the moneys raised in this event went to the CCC SNAP club. The club uses these funds to attend out of class events and training as well as to fund lab equipment to enhance their learning experiences here at CCC. We at the SNAP club hope to see you all next year.
