Prairie planting project
Ecology Committee Formed in 2006, the Campus Ecology Committee's goal is to provide input to administration and facilities staff concerning the management of the campus environment to create a campus that is inviting to the college population as well as the larger public community. The team will be responsible for investigating and recommending positive changes to the campus (i.e., energy use, waste reduction, habitat maintenance and restoration, perception of the campus by visitors, etc.) These changes will result in heightened awareness of the college environment, resulting in enhanced curb appeal.

Environmental Club Formed in 1988, the SCC Environmental Club works to improve the environment at SCC and the surrounding areas. Spring 2007 meetings are held every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Room 2315. Visit the club Web site for more information.
