GED Graduates Invited to Participate in Ceremony
Individuals who have completed their GED (General Educational Development) diploma through Scott Community College’s Career Assistance Center are invited to participate in the program’s upcoming graduation ceremony.
The cap and gown ceremony will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, at the Capitol Theater. Graduates interested in participating need to register at the Career Assistance Center, 627 W. 2nd Street by May 27.
“This ceremony honors the efforts of the GED graduates and provides their friends and family with an opportunity to celebrate their success,” said Jim Schneider, Assistant Dean for Adult Education. “It is really a very moving event and we want to have as many graduates as possible participate.”
Recent graduates as well as GED graduates from prior years who missed the ceremony are invited to participate.
