MCC has been working closely with Drohobych State Pedagogical University in Ukraine to develop a community college in that country. This study program is an outgrowth of the college’s work in that country and is sponsored by the Community Colleges for International Development.
Drohobych State Pedagogical University is located in western Ukraine. The university was originally established as a pedagogial institute in 1940 re-organized into the university in 1998. It currently comprises 12 colleges and 46 departments training future teachers in 50 majors and minors.
Cost of the program is $2,440 and includes round-trip airfare. Students will stay at a hotel in Drohobych. College credit is also available at an additional charge.

In both of the upcoming programs, students will live with host families in Denmark and participate in seminars, hands-on applications and independent study. The program is facilitated by both US and Danish instructors.
Cost for the Sustainable Agriculture program is $3,105 and for the Sustainable Energy program it is $2,980 and includes round-trip airfare.
