Deadline approaches for 2008-09 scholarship applications
Clinton Community College's Paul B. Sharar Foundation, the Muscatine Community College Foundation and the Scott Community College Foundation have announced that scholarship applications for the 2008-09 academic year are due April 1.
Current and new students can pick up an application packet at their college and the college they plan to attend. Scholarship applications are also available on our website.
Two references are required with the application. Completed applications and goal statements should be submitted by April 1.
Criteria for the scholarship awards varies, depending on the scholarship. Some are presented on the basis of financial need, others on academic achievement and still others on the program in which the student is enrolled. Because there is such a wide variety of criteria, all students are encouraged to apply.
