The Muscatine Community College (MCC) chapter of Business Professionals of America is very proud to sponsor the “Have a Heart” fund drive for Special Olympics. Hearts will be sold for $1 each; individuals can print their name on each heart they purchase.
The hearts will be on display at the MCC library during the month of February. The proceeds will be donated to the Muscatine Special Olympics. The hearts can be obtained from local chapter members at MCC starting February 12 or at Hy-Vee Food Store on February 23 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
On February 14, chapter members also showed their support by having a bake sale along with the opportunity to purchase carnations for that special someone for only $1 each. These profits will also be donated to Special Olympics. The celebration of BPA week was February 11 - 15.
The purpose of BPA is to provide opportunities for professional growth in the areas of leadership, service, cooperation and knowledge for students who are enrolled in business courses. Special Olympics is the BPA national service project.
