Muscatine Community College set to host annual Art of Gardening
A well-planned and cared-for garden is a thing of beauty, a true work of art. That’s the underlying belief of Muscatine Community College’s annual Art of Gardening day-long series of classes.

The event will be held in the college’s Strahan Hall on March 15 from
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with registration beginning at 8 a.m. The day consists of a series of concurrent sessions, with attendees allowed to choose their favorite sessions in advance.
The day’s activities also include a lunchtime general session with Dr. Donald Lewis, Iowa State University Extension Entomologist. Dr. Lewis will speak on These are a Few of My Favorite Bugs. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions and observations for an informal discussion of bugs!
The day-long event is planned in cooperation with the Iowa State University Extension department.
