Alumni Association recognizes student leaders
Twenty three Clinton Community College (CCC) students were honored as student leaders recently by the Clinton Community College Alumni Association. These students were nominated by staff and faculty of the college for their leadership in the classroom, on campus and in the community.
Alumni Association Board Member Donna Current welcomed the students, their families and the nominators for the luncheon. CCC President Dr. Karen Vickers praised the students for their visibility and works at the college, and introduced the keynote speaker, Iowa Senator Roger Stewart. Senator Stewart spoke about leadership through one’s life, noting that integrity and a respect for others are key components. Dean of the College Ron Serpliss recognized the students and highlighted their individual achievements.

The Clinton Community College Alumni Association was founded in 1981 to foster a spirit of loyalty to the college. Each year the Alumni Association awards four scholarships to CCC students. Anyone interested in joining the Alumni Association should contact Ann Eisenman, 563-244-7040.
