Clinton Community College students visit state leaders
Clinton Community College Student Senate Advisor Mardell Mommsen accompanied four Clinton Community College students to the Legislative Conference on Wednesday January 30 and Thursday January 31 in Des Moines.
Students learned about the lobbying process, networked with other community college students and met area legislators. The students practiced what they have learned about lobbying and shared their with their legislators. The students will use their new knowledge to head up a letter writing campaign for CCC, thanking the legislators for their support and continuing to share their stories.
