Diversity Committee sponsors international food tasting
The Clinton Community College International Cultural Diversity Committee held the Fifth International Food Tasting Event on April 2 in the CCC Auditorium.
CCC students and staff hosted booths with foods from several countries around the world as well as regional taste treats from the United States. Along with the food, participants were encouraged to prepare recipe cards, fact sheets, photos, music, artifacts and any other culturally significant items for display. As part of the 2008 event, participants shared food from China, Ethiopia, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, and South Korea. There was also a taste of Native Alaskan, soul food, and Cajun cuisine.
