CCC plans 60th commencement ceremony
Clinton Community College will be celebrating its 60th Commencement Ceremony on Tuesday, May 13, at 6 p.m. The ceremony will be held at Clinton High School in Yourd Gymnasium. A reception will be held at the college, 1000 Lincoln Boulevard, immediately following the commencement ceremony.
Student Marshals will be Holly Ricca and Doug Housenga. Faculty Marshals will be Lanell Mogab and Chris Eichmeier. Student speakers for this year’s commencement ceremony will be Julie Connell, Susan Donahue and Jesse Fullan. Kelsi Huber will be providing the music for the ceremony. A musical selection will be presented by Lacy Putman.
There is much celebration going on at the campus prior to the commencement ceremony, including:
Clinton Community College Alumni Asssociation Outstanding Awards Reception on Monday, May 12, at 4 p.m. in the CCC Auditorium.
Honor Cording Ceremony on Tuesday, May 13, at Noon. This is a time for us to celebrate those graduating with a 3.5 cumulative gpa or greater. There will be a short program with refreshments following provided by the Student Senate.
Nurse Pinning Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. Nursing graduates will be pinned by a significant person in their lives. Former Clinton Mayor and nurse, LaMetta Wynn, will be the guest speaker.
