  Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Training for All New Employees (January)
 
  Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Training is held during the second week of January for all new full-time employees of the EICCD. This four-day highly interactive and intensive training experience helps all staff members to enhance their knowledge in:
    (1) the organizational structure, processes and systems of the EICCD,
    (2) understanding the principles and practices of continuous quality improvement,
    (3) interpersonal and technical tools that are necessary for teamwork, consensus building, problem solving and quality improvement, and
    (4) using a systematic approach to process and systems improvement in order to meet or exceed student and stakeholder needs and expectations.
 
  At the conclusion of the training, in order to apply CQI principles and practices to the work setting, participants are required to complete a " CQI Personal Implementation Plan ." Also, past participants have consistently rated CQI Training as an "above average to excellent" learning experience.
