  Welcome to the Eastern Iowa Community College District's Center for Professional Development Web site!
 
  The mission of the Center for Professional Development (CPD) is to support the ongoing development of the EICCD as a successful learning organization by facilitating access for all employees to professional and personal learning opportunities.
 
  The CPD provides for and encourages participation in learning opportunities, which focus on:
 
 
    Dot image Professional skill development designed to enhance quality teaching, student learning and excellence in the workplace
 
    Dot image Technology skill development designed to support the effective use of technology in teaching and learning and in the workplace
 
    Dot image Personal skill development designed to enable a more healthy, relaxed and enjoyable lifestyle both at work and at home
 
    Dot image Resource skill development designed to increase accessibility to both internal and external informational resources that support the work of EICCD
 
  Who developed the CPD Web site?
 
  The CPD Web site was developed by the following team:

  Who is the "primary voice" for providing input and support for the ongoing development of professional and personal learning opportunities that are offered through the CPD Web site?
 
  The Professional Development Council (PDC) is the "primary voice" for providing input and support of the ongoing development of the CPD Web site.
 
  All EICCD employees are encouraged to contact their campus representatives with ideas for course or workshop offerings and suggestions for improvement of the CPD. The Professional Development Council (PDC) link on the CPD homepage provides a list of members and contact information to facilitate communications.
 
  Additionally, all EICCD employees can submit ideas for course and workshop offerings and suggestions for improvement directly by using the "Contact Us" link on the PDC home page.
