The original Chancellor's Initiative Team was called the Innovative Programs and Services Team. The team leader was Jeff Armstrong. Members included: Laurie Hanson, Honey Bedell, Rassoul Dastmozd, Ilene Deckert, Nancy Kothenbeutel, Neil Mandsager, Ron Serpliss and Karen Vickers.

Purpose: To respond to increasing demands placed upon us by a "consumer culture" with systems, programs and services that anticipate and meet demands while maintaining highest academic quality.

Goal: Design a process to generate ideas and implement at least one or two new programs and services each year.

This team presented the concept to the EICCD Board and the project was awarded $60,000 in seed money to jump-start the process.

A new implementation team was formed - the IDEAS (Innovation Driven Entrepreneurial Actions and Solutions) Team. The IDEAS team consists of: Ellen Kabat Lensch, Glo Hanne, Tina Petersen,
Ron Serpliss, Katie Watson, Bob Albee, Teresa Paper and Honey Bedell.
