College Goal  / FASFA Event

Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges, in association with colleges throughout the state, will be hosting College Goal events in February to help students and their families through the financial aid application process.

Financial aid specialists from the college will be available to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The FAFSA is the federally-required form to qualify for federal, state and most institutional financial aid and scholarships.

The events will be held:

• Saturday, February 25 –
  9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m
  Kahl Educational Center
  326 West Third Street, Davenport
  Rooms 400 and 402

There is no fee for the event, nor is there a fee for submitting the FAFSA. No appointment is necessary to attend.  Students or parents may attend individually but organizers recommend that students and at least one parent or guardian come together.

Those attending are encouraged to bring various documents with them such as their most recent tax return and bank statements. A complete list of the needed information can be found online at www.iowacgs.org
