College invites community to visit new bookstore.  

Construction of Clinton Community College's new bookstore was completed in the fall of 2008. 

The bookstore moved from its former location at just 944 square feet, to its new location in the northeast corner of the main campus. It now encompasses approximately 1,600 square feet.

Moving the bookstore was made possible by the opening of the CCC Learning Center, formerly located in that area, to a new home across the street from the college. The Learning Center houses the college's Continuing Education and Adult Basic Education departments.

“Our new bookstore is beautiful. The new space offers our students plenty of room as they shop for their books and supplies," said Clinton Community College President Karen Vickers.

"It also allows for an expanded section of CCC clothing and we have all enjoyed seeing the new items as they have hit the shelves, Dr. Vickers said. "Our bookstore and facilities staff did a great job of planning the space and of overseeing the completion. We are very proud of our new bookstore.”

The CCC bookstore includes textbooks, school supplies and related materials, in addition to a variety of clothing, jackets, CCC items and gift selections. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
