for the job market.
It’s not unusual though for individuals, especially adults
who have been out of school for a while, to need to brush up on
their skills. We all get rusty and forget things if we don’t
use them on a regular basis.
Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges are uniquely
positioned to help people improve those rusty skills and prepare
them for either a new job or advancement at their current
position.
CareerLink Essentials+ is a quick, four-week, training
program providing individuals with the basic skills required by
employers. We know these are the skills employers are looking for
because the program was created in partnership with, and continues
to work closely with, many area manufacturers.
Adult Basic Education classes are those for those who
need to improve skills in a specific subject matter. These free

speaking and math.
For those who did not complete high school, we offer classes to
help them earn their GED (high school equivalency diploma.
And for people for whom English is not their native language,
