Eastern Iowa Community College District students have a number
of choices when it comes to the Logistics & Supply Chain
Management area.
The Associate in Applied Science Degree is
designed for those individuals wishing to enter the job market with
the skills to perform a variety of job functions in the logistics
and supply chain field. Logistics professionals are responsible for
the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition,
distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of
resources.
Two certificates are also offered.
- The RFID
Certificate prepares students in the growing
technology field of Radio Frequency Identification.
- The Logistics
Certificate provides a broad overview of
transportation while building the foundation of skills for entry
into the field of logistics.
The Logistics
Diploma program incorporates both certificates as
well as providing the critical thinking skills necessary for career
advancement in the field.
