The Quad Cities is a natural hub for the transportation industry, with excellent interstate, rail, river and air connections. The need for people with good training
and strong skills in logistics is higher than ever and will continue to grow. Starting pay ranges from $10 to $18 an hour. Jobs are available with such diverse
employers as shipping companies, carriers and government agencies.
Eastern Iowa Community College District offers the training you need to prepare for a great job in the field of logistics. The 160-hour program has been developed with extensive input from area employers and is designed to meet the skill needs they have identified. The logistics technician program is offered in the evenings at the Blong Technology Center in northwest Davenport.
You can choose all of the tracks or just the ones that fit your needs.
