Program Accreditation

Scott Community College is accredited by the North Central Association.  In 1995 our program gained certification from Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Our curriculum is written to Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards, and our graduates are prepared to pass ASE certification exams in the following  six areas:

• Gasoline Engines
• Diesel Engines
• Drive Train
• Brakes
• Suspension & Steering
• Electrical System
• Preventive Maintenance
