Clinton, Muscatine & Scott Community College
Program Description
Law Enforcement is a cooperative program between Eastern Iowa Community College District and Black Hawk College. Both an A.A.S. and a certificate are available through this program.
The Law Enforcement A.A.S. program provides a working knowledge of the criminal justice system, an understanding of human behavior, and the knowledge of bureaucratic structure. Students completing this program are prepared to compete for jobs in the criminal justice field at the local and state level.
The certificate program is designed for persons presently employed in the criminal justice system.
Courses are provided in a classroom setting at the Black Hawk College Quad-City Campus located in Moline, IL. Most courses are also available online or as an independent study course.
Students enroll in the Law Enforcement courses through their home college (CCC, MCC, or SCC) to take advantage of our in-state tuition rates.
